  • When invited to attend a GCU versus UTRGV men's basketball game, I thought to myself, "Sure, sounds like a nice evening." Never in my life did I think I would walk away with the hope that I could share the experience with everyone who is meaningful to me. More than the thoughtfully designed arena with its amazing soundsystem, cushioned seats, and great monitors, it was the student population and the experience that warrant four stars. Bring your family to a GCU basketball game. It is wholesome, positive, interactive fun that will have you wearing purple and saying, "Lopes up," in no time at all.
