Came here because of a friend's recommendation. We ordered an Americano, a brewed coffee, the Flat White and also, two croissants: almond and butter. Everything spewed thoughtfulness and quality. The coffee was nothing to scream about but is on par with many other great cafes in TO. The croissants were fresh and delicious. Prices were all in the $2-$4 range which is not bad. However, what won me over was the friendliness of their staff. Conversations flowed naturally between customer and staff. They cared about your order and followed up to be sure everything was correct. Their hospitality overshadowed the fact that they housed competitive coffee roasters indicated by their awards in the back. Finally, best of all were there freshly made pastries situated in the back which filled the air. At the time we left, broccoli and onion quiches were being prepared. The warmest and coffee would bring me back in a heart beat.
