This place is close to my house so it takes care of my needs but because they do not buy a lot of inventory, it's rather over priced. Prepackaged smoked meat items can be old and moldy at times so please check well before buying.
Often they have champagne grapes and sweet cherries for a steal and buying fresh herbs at markets like this one is more cost effective than at regular grocery stores.
If you're into fruit preserves and jams, buy them at these markets (like International Market, Jones Market, Euro Market and Deli) because they are prepared with a lot less sugar and processing so you lol be getting great quality for a good price. Max has a pretty decent selection.
They have a a decent selection of kefirs including kosher kind and they are priced well. They have other Kosher items, which is perfect.
If you like making hummus, your best bet is to buy Tahini at a Middle Eastern/ Eastern Euro grocery like Max because they are super cheap. I saw some at Whole Foods for $15 - get the f out of here.
I still do most of my European grocery shopping at Jones but for the quick immediate buys I'll go to Max market just to save me the drive.
