  • As the special events coordinator, I worked with the sales team at the OMNI to make the connection at the Charlotte City Club. The view is spectacular!!! The rooms are unique and the space itself is divided, however, we made it work. The initial site visit, and discussion of the BEO was professional but as the days approached, our event manager became less and less available. A lot of things slipped through the cracks but more importantly the day of, the food was not as good as our lunch food sampling. We had the sampling at lunch hour off the menu but you would figure the quality wouldn't be much different. The service was average at best. During dessert hour, we had it in a separate room, which is what I wanted since we had most of the second floor but no dessert spoons or forks out. I had to request several times. To say I wouldn't have another event here is a stretch but I would clarify things up front to be sure my event was taken care of.
