You have a lot of options in the W. 6th area. I've been going out in this part of Cleveland for about two years now and have never once been in Tequila Ranch. The general consensus seems to be that there are much better bars nearby so it's not really worth going to. I would agree with that.
As a group of friends and I were walking to another bar, I saw the "mechanical bull" from the street. We hit up Dive Bar and decided to go to Tequila Ranch for the mechanical bull. Walked in to the smell of vomit in our faces. Not a good welcome. The smell persisted for the entirety of our time there. Didn't seem like anyone was cleaning anything up... But we came here for one thing and weren't leaving until we got it. The bull is $5 to ride. Your friends can then throw more money in to make it a worse time for you. It's actually hilarious how the operator manages to throw people off. He does this stuttering-jerking motion which is just ridiculous. Gotta love it.
All sorts of people were coming in and trying it, but that seemed to be all that was going on at the bar. It was damn near empty at the busiest time of the night. Drinks ARE cheaper. It's easier to get drinks because there aren't many people there. It has a basement, but I didn't brave the journey down there. Didn't get a look at the bathrooms either. I decided a bull ride was the most I wanted out of Tequila Ranch.
