  • This place is totally worth waking up early for and taking a longer than normal drive from my Las Vegas strip hotel. The owner is super-friendly and if you get here early enough, you can get plenty of options to choose from including savory breakfast pastries. After paying closer attention on their store hours, I noticed that like most popular family-owned local doughnut shops, they are usually out of donuts by mid morning. Unlike some places, they don't skimp on the ingredients or flavors. Old fashioned or regular, their maple will taste like actual maple syrup instead of some watered-down sugary pastry with a tinge of maple color and flavor. The cream-filled donuts and crueller are also really good. A dozen donuts for $8 is also very reasonable.
