| - This is the second pre-owned vehicle I got from them, and I had a decent experience the first time I bought my vehicle from them. First vehicle I bought right before my ex and I broke up, and I shipped off to Basic Training for the Army. I was able to pay it off in 11 months. But I noticed the tires were shit. They were all flat and worn, so I replaced them with a new set. Minor issue, since I bought it as is.
It was a Ford, so I New the problems within the next year I had it was due to that reason, and cause it was a 2002.
I just bought another Ford Expedition from them, this time it was a 2006. A little younger than the last. I had my eye on this one for months and kept inquiring about it. I should've known it was more worn when "Mike" told me it was really RELIABLE, as his family was HOLDING OFF selling it cause they personally used it to commute back and forth to Cali, for "business".
Mike also told me that the tires on them are fairly new. The tread on the tires seemed to be in decent shape. So I believed him. Test run ran smoothly. A/C seemed to run decently (this is also when the weather was cooler outside in Spring).
The blissful optimism of this purchase dwindled like the Spring in the hot desert known as Las Vegas Barely a week later, tire pressure on all four tires are shit. Tire indicator light keeps going off. I complained to Mike, he was more worried about his money than admitting he lied. He should've given me more of a discount since his family "knowingly" wore out this vehicle more than it had! Oh, and the battery died while I was out and about. A few days after the purchase. Mike tells me to get it back to the dealership? Like pay more money to get it towed back so he can replace what should've been handled during his inspections. So he replaced the battery, which he says happens A LOT cause of the "WEATHER". Okay...okay that's somewhat believable I guess... since it was fairly cold, even though this is fucking Vegas. Okay...
So, two days ago...I was driving with two of my babies and I go get food, and I noticed it was super shaky. I thought it might be the tires were a little low again, (or worst, the engine was failing).
No engine light is on. No indicator light warning me. Engine temperature is great. So later that day, I take it to Terribles. It is now feeling like I'm driving on the fucking Rocky Mountains. I barely make it there (around the corner from my house). The mechanic takes a look before he's about to inflate my tires, takes off one of the hub caps, and swoosh.
This mother fucker was holding on by ONE lug nut. The others came out with ease with the hub cap... and were COMPLETELY rusted!!!! Guy was like, "Whoa! You could've flipped! Did you drive this on the freeway?! These lug nuts are rusted completely! You must be one lucky person. This tire is barely attached by ONE lug but!"
Call Mike, and he's like, "Can you drive it here so I can have my guys look at it?" What the actual Fuck? "So, you want me to drive it in the horrible and non-drivable condition it's in to you, so you can make the same diagnosis, if I don't flip before I get there?" "Well, I don't trust the guys or know them who are telling you this bs. You know these auto shops, they always be trying to say this and this is wrong, to try to sell you bullshit things you don't need."
"Like when you sold me this bullshit that risked me and my family's lives?!" Mike wanted me to spend more money getting it back to his dealership, so he can have his guys that he pays under the table to fix a prior fuck up he missed or covered up during the "inspection".
DO NOT trust these thieves!!! They are scam artists. They sell shit for vehicles. They act like you're family, to gain your trust. But really, it's all about them keeping business and feeding theirs. No matter the lives they put at stake.
