My husband and I purchased over $13k worth of furniture from the Ashley Furniture in Scottsdale Arizona. Part of this purchase was a new bedroom set for my son. The furniture was delivered on 6/27 Tuesday. The furniture appeared to be fine however when we went to place some items inside my son's dresser a couple days later as we were still unpacking from our move, the metal brackets (slide tracks) inside the dresser broke off from the inside. The whole drawer fell off inside the base of the dresser and the outside of the dresser actually has a hole it in now from where the tracks broke off. Also upon removing the drawer we noticed that when the dresser was made part of the interior screws cracked part of the dresser from the inside. Obviously this is something you can't see upon a visual inspection of the furniture when it was delivered. I called Ashley Furniture thinking this would just be an easy fix as it is obviously a manufacturer defect and that they would just replace the dresser. It definitely was NOT....instead of just replacing the dresser that we received from them they told me that because I accepted the dresser I now have to wait a week to have a technician come out to inspect the dresser to see if it can be repaired. At that point they'll let me know if they can fix it or if it'll have to be replaced which obviously can take another couple weeks. I've had this dresser for a couple days....seriously??!! You can't just replace it??? Do yourself a favor DO NOT purchase anything from Ashley Furniture. I am disgusted that this is the way they treat loyal customers. We have bought numerous pieces of furniture from them over the years and to think we have to go through this over a $300 dresser. They've lost our business. We will not be shopping with them again. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
