  • Caveat Emptor!!!! I stopped purchasing pool salt at Leslie's in FH because they were always pricier than everyone else and at time even more expensive that Ace Hardware. However, today Sunday Feb 18th I experienced an all time low. Both the lady and the young man working there were pleasant. I was looking for Pentair replacement filters. They had the right size filters Pleatco PCC130 4 pak. I had heart palpitations when they rang up the 4 pak for $379.96!!! They said that if I purchased Pentair brand they would cost even more. So I purchased them BUT decided to go on line just to check out pricing. Sad to say, I could get Pentair brand for $285.00 BUT EVEN MORE FRUSTRATING was that the same Pleatco PCC130 product was available for $183.00 - that's $196.00 LESS that at my local Leslie's pool store. Needless to say I returned the product AND THEN one of the two employees admitted that their pricing is MUCH MORE than purchasing it on line. Look, I'm not a penny pincher and if it was $25 to $35 more I would have been okay with it since they are local and I prefer to give locals my business. However, the huge price difference is UNACCEPTABLE and I doubt if I will go to Leslie's again. I hope the owners of Leslie's read this post and I hope all my fellow Fountain Hills residents take heed of my Yelp post and think twice before shopping at Leslie's in Fountain Hills. Unless your wealthy then CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
