| - It's Monday and a brew was needed to salvage the day. Many breweries are closed but lucky us, this one was not. Sat at bar and ordered the Habanero Peak Farm and Peak Farm Double Pale Ale. One thing I do not like is that their taps do not have the names of the brews. I'm in the fraud industry so I am always weary, but that's just me. Beers were good, in fact, the Habanero was fabulous if you like that spice kick in your drink. All beers are below 8 ABV, so if you are looking for high octane, this is not the place.
I would have to say, this place tends to have more of the 20 to 30 somethings. Probably due to the many apartments within walking distance. The first time we came, there was a CD release thing going on so it made for great people watching including all the lovely doggies.
Each time we have come, we sat at the bar, except for the release party. And each time it seems the bartenders are more interested in talking to each other especially when it's slow. Not one server as sported a smile, EVER. It leaves me baffled Engage those at the bar, provide your name, or talk beer or something. You almost feel bad when wanting another because you will need to interrupt their convo. Engae, trust me it creates repeat customers.
This place is ok. There are many many more breweries in town to go. Nothing left an impression. Oh yeah, and check your credit card before you leave ensuring it's your FULL name; just saying.
