  • Birthday dinner for me! Immediately felt at home with a warm welcome, cozy decor, well worth the drive from Charlotte Our waiter was knowledgeable and helpful. We started with cocktails, I had the spritzer which was exactly what I wanted, and the boy had the whiskey rye drink that was boozy and just what he wanted. We switched then to wine he brought. For starters we had the beef tartar which did not disappoint, salty rich and on a bed of avocado! The waiter convinced us to try the oysters, which to me were only ok. And we couldn't keep our hands off the milk bread. The squid ink pasta was rich and flavorful with a broth we couldn't get enough of! Finished with chocolate birthday cake. If this is what it is like to get older, sign me up!
