  • I would give this 1 star if it wasn't for the actual coverings and for the gentlemen who installs the plantation shutters, joe I believe his name is, he's a very nice guy and should find a better company to work for. I am still waiting for 1 window to be installed because Susan, who I heard is no longer with the company, ordered the shutter wrong. When it was time to be installed I was told they couldn't because of an existing frame I had to remove. When I removed the frame it wasn't the correct size. This started in May, it's now October and I am waiting for an update after placing 2 more calls and not getting a call back. Susan also tried to text me to tell me that she was going to charge my credit card the balance. When I told her how dare you text me and charge me when the job is still not complete she told me if I read the fine print they can collect if all but 10% is finished. I found her insulting, unprofessional and I am still waiting for my shutter to be installed. Don't bother with the aggravation, there are plenty of other window covering companies out there. My friend who had originally referred house of windows, dealt with similar issues
