  • My experience with David's bridal makes me sad because I went there to try on wedding dresses for the first time. My group and I were so excited about going , we made an appointment way in advance and showed up early for our appointment. It took about 20 minutes for them to get us started in a dressing room. I told my consultant that I was very indecisive and knew that I was going to have a hard time picking out a dress. This was also my first time ever trying on dresses. We got stared and the first consultant was very sweet and helpful. She had to leave and switched out with a consultant named Tedi. Tedi never once came over to help me once my first consultant left for the day so my maid of honor and I walked around to pick out more dresses to try on. During that time Tedi rudely came up to me and informed me that she would only allow me to try on three more dresses because "I had already picked out the dress I want". I never picked out the dress I wanted and if so I would have been done looking. After picking out three more dresses Tedi was once again no where to be found. After waiting 15 min for her my maid of honor went in the dressing room with me to help me start trying on the three gowns I had picked out. I fell in love with the first of the three I put on. Tedi came up to me at that point and I asked her if the dress came in white and not ivory and she informed me that it did but that my time was up and that I needed to pick a dress or leave. She treated me so poorly that I decided that David's bridal did not deserve my business. She turned my appointment from something that was going really well and was so much fun into a nightmare. I left feeling like a nuisance. The group I had with me were furious because they are all married and have gone through the dress shopping experience and knew we were not being treated right. My dad called to complain about the service we received and we're told a manager would contact us and they never did. The only resolution they offered was for us to go to a different location with different consultants. We were never informed that our appointment time had a time cap. In the end I only tried on about 6-7 dresses before they basically kicked us out of the store. The worst part is my mom overheard Tedi talking bad about me up front to her coworker while my mom was looking at mother of the bride dresses. They took away that magical experience you expect when trying on wedding dresses for the first time.
