  • I am baffled by the negative reviews. Granted it has been 5 years since we adopted our female cat. We did all the paper work and did the interview. They told us she should be the only pet and not be in a home with children. They also told us she had been abused ( she was 1 1/2 years old). When we went to get her she was in a cage with her bed flipped over trying to hide under it. We took her home that day. After we got her home I understood why they had us agree to no other pets and children, she hides when company come and hisses at any cat at the vet. She was terrified, thought she had to get water out of the faucet and hid under the bed. With a lot of love, patience and understanding her idiosyncrasies she is a loving part of my husband's and my life.
