Bought a POGO pass for my daughter and I to explore some places in the valley over her summer break. Seaquest was on the list of places and we've been dying to check this place out for a while so off we went on a Saturday late morning. When you arrive you check in and are given the option to purchase coins to feed the animals in the aquarium. $2.50 a coin, they suggest to get at least 5 as they never expire and you get a deal when you purchase in bulk so i bought $11 worth just incase my daughter wanted to feed any of the animals. They have small sharks and sting rays in a large tank where you can get pretty great photo ops. Not too many workers interacting with guests to answer questions but there are labels in front of all the exhibits to self guide what you are looking at. A few empty tanks which we were bummed about and a cute bird exhibit where you can opt to feed the birds. Overall there was much left to be desired. The place is quite small and was SUPER packed. The place for me was a "one and done" kind of experience, I wouldn't come back unless there was a birthday party there that we were invited to. Unfortunately this is the sad reality of living in Las Vegas there aren't many great places kid friendly that would give your child at least a half day experience like major cities such as San Francisco or Manhattan. It was good for what it was a stretched out 1.5 hour experience. Thankfully POGO offered more items to check out because my daughter wasnt ready to head home afterwards.
