  • I visited friends for a weekend and before setting off to explore Phoenix, coffee was the first thing we wanted. My friends spoke highly of this place and I didn't see any reason why I should give it a whirl. I ordered their Iced Horchata with two shots of espresso. Now, growing up I wasn't a fan of horchata, prior to my visit here, I wasn't sure where I stood with it still. I am here to declare that I've developed a liking. The horchata is made in house, how would I know? I tasted the rice that had gathered at the bottom of my cup. It was delicious and it gave great texture to my drink. The cinnamon and seasoning were just right and not overwhelming. As an added bonus, frozen mango cubes were sprinkled on top! On a very hot Arizona day, chewing on a frozen fruit helps! They displace their pastries and food in a well kept case. And their condiment bar is very organized. The decor is eclectic. It has an organized, home feel to it. The tables and chairs are miss-match but it works. There is a table with a chess set which I always find awesome! They have a restroom that is co-ed. Their patio area is cute and has plenty of shade! The entire place looks neat and clean! Parking wasn't an issue and there seemed to be plenty! The staff is very helpful and friendly. They answered all the questions that were asked and they even helped my friend decide on a drink. I am definitely visiting again!
