| - Truth: I have crappy nails. Thin and brittle - and I was always a nail biter, which didn't help. So in February of 2007 (wow - that long ago? Time flies), I stopped into Q Nails - where my sister got hers done.
Now, I'd had my nails done regularly elsewhere, way back in the days of plastic tips and silk wraps. But it had been a long time, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I didn't know whether to get acrylics or gels or what. (Keep in mind that I had NO nails going in, so something major needed to happen.) The owner (Bob) suggested acrylics - more durable and less expensive than gel - so I said, "Hook me up." I walked out of there feeling like I had someone else's hands - which sounds gross, but it was a good thing.
So, yeah - almost 9 years, and Bob's still doing my nails every two weeks. The staff is very friendly (they all know who I am when I call for an appointment), the salon is clean, and they do a great job. As long as I live in Madison, I'll be a customer of Q Nails.
