  • On 8/19/2017 we drove the 60 miles to Denver Mattress in Champaign Illinois. Ordered a Queen mattress and then we "were talked into the new box springs and the mattress cover, sheets and pillows package." They expected the stuff that they didn't have (Pillow and box springs) in inventory to show up in a 3-4 days but said to give them 2 weeks just in case. 9/2/2017 after waiting the 2 weeks to which we never received the phone call that we were promised. I don't care if you tell me it was back-ordered or damaged, just tell me something. Stephanie called well they would give us the stuff from another family's order as they didn't need to pick it up yet, OKAY so what happened to our stuff ?? They didn't say, we went to pick up the order. Okay we got it all in the truck we took the scenic drive home for the 60 miles. Upon arriving at home and while carrying the rigid box springs in that these were not going to make it up the 6 steps and then make a 90 degree turn to make it up to the upstairs bedroom. We fought that for about an hour, we did get the more flexible mattress up the stairs in the mean time. So we call Sunday morning after they open, I figure that I would use this box spring for Stephanie's bed, and need to do something for box springs for the upstairs bed, well I didn't realize that the manufactures make a split set of box springs. So I bought the split set of box springs and another queen size mattress as its about time we replace Stephanie's mattress too. So off to Champaign again for a third trip of of 120 round trip miles argh!!! Well overall a good visit, (all 3) and then on Sunday evening I get a call from Denver Mattress saying that they forget to give us the 50.00 credit that we had earned from earlier. They needed permission to make a credit card transaction to give me the 50.00 credit. Today I checked and everything went through as we had hope and instead of having one happy person sleeping on an new bed we have two!!! HELPFUL HINT :::: I do wish they would have asked about how we were carrying the box springs upstairs as I had know clue that there were other options.
