  • I went into Tia's to have gel removed and for a no-polish manicure. I was told that it would be no problem. After a few minutes with foil on my nails, they started to scrape and scrape and scrape. While the gel was on thick, it felt like a whole layer of nail was being taken off in addition to the gel. Just a few more minutes with the foil would have made the process easier and less painful. After a quick clip of my nails, she said I was done. I mentioned that I had asked for a no-polish manicure and was told that there was no time. When I went to pay, I was told it was $10 despite the price sheet saying $5/$7. After pointing out that the prices were advertised differently, she was adamant that it was $10. After bad service and an even worse experience, I will not be going back to Tia's.
