I've had good experiences and bad. Unfortunately, this bad one was was enough for us not to return.
One: it is an hour drive, each way. Drove up there multiple times due to sales person error
Two: different experiences with same sales lady (one good/one bad)
Three: they made a mistake and wasted huge amounts of our time
So, here the gist of it. We found a piece of furniture we loved, but needed to customize the size. Of course, this was no problem with increase of price. 1.5X the price. Ok. We loved the piece enough (~6.5K with customization, not including fabric if upgraded).
Sales person helped select fabric and had samples mailed to our home. It took about 3 weeks for the samples to arrive.
We meticulously looked at the samples in our room for about 4 weeks, and narrowed it down to one. We went in to the showroom to look at coordinating fabrics as we wanted an additional fabric detail. The sales person then realized they sent the fabric that we loved in error; not available for our piece of furniture. What!?! The sample I have been staring at 4 for weeks and loved, is not available? I have to start all over again. Two months of my time absolutely wasted.
She gave us some sample fabric off the floor, but the damage had been done. My husband had lost interest and both of us very angry. I drove my butt back up there within the week to return the samples. Again, more wasted time.
We haven't been back and will not be. I seriously think that Arhaus should have paid for the extra expense due to their error. Instead they lost a $6.5K sale.
I'm currently looking to have the piece custom made. The only thing Arhaus is good at is poor customer service and the poor reviews reflect that.
