  • Dealt with another pushy stereotypical car salesman type here while searching for a used car. Had my eye on a 2008 Yaris, he told me I had better buy it TODAY or else it will be sold in the next 24 hours, guaranteed, because it was such a great specimen and so on and so forth. I came back to the dealership a week later and it was still sitting there of course. Asked for the service records of a couple of the cars I was looking at and he resisted, also didn't want to give me a copy of the carproofs (because of some nonsensical story about how I might somehow use them to steal the ownership of the cars using the vehicle information on them... right). It's unfortunate, they had a car I actually had an interest in buying, but the attitude just put me off entirely.
