I was here a few days ago to buy a book I could not remember the title of. The customer service desk was empty for a long, long time, and when someone finally did come, he didn't look at me and just said "What do you need?" instead of any friendly exchange. While I tried to remember the name of the book, he was literally tapping his foot. He couldn't find it and seemed supremely irritated with me that I had the gall to come to a bookstore and ask for help finding a book. When I left and said, "Don't worry about it," he didn't acknowledge me and continued doing what he was doing before. I want to support local business, even if it is a chain, but I came home and ordered the book I wanted from Amazon.
