Leased a 2016 civic and the customer service was really good. A couple months after buying it the touch screen started giving me problems. Since it was under warranty I sent it in to get it replaced. Kind of frustrated that happened as it is a brand new car so it caught me off guard that there were already problems. When I got the car back I noticed my gear shift was all scratched up and since it is leather it was very noticeable. Since I only noticed a week later and had no proof that they were the ones that did it I didn't bother complaining about it. Fast forward 2 years later, car is running great until all of a sudden by engine won't start. After 5 hrs of waiting for CAA tech then waiting for CAA tow it was towed back to the dealership. They later told me that it was a starter problem and that the parts will arrive between feb 14-21. I had just finished a night shift so I was having none of this. This is a brand new car how does a starter malfunction so soon??? Asked if I could get a rental car since I need my car for work but they refused since I did not pay for extended warranty and will only get a rental if they keep it for longer than 5 days. I call back 2 days later to ask about any updates on my car, they told me the parts still aren't in and have agreed to give me a rental for the time being. It has been longer than a week and I still do not have my car. I was told the parts would come in today but no one has called to update me. I've tried calling but the line has been busy for the past 30 min. I am paying monthly for this lease and if I don't have the car what am I paying for. Management needs to give the service advisors their own line and increase the amount of staff as it is impossible to get a hold of anyone.
