  • Just rented from this location near the Cleveland Airport last week during a family visit to Cleveland. I have rented many vehicles through the years and have never been scammed like this before!! My reservation was for an intermediate car, and the desk agent offered me a couple of vehicle choices, NEVER mentioning they would be upgrades to full size at an additional $10 per day. Typically an agent will at least advise of the additional charge. When I discovered this scam, I contacted the corporate office customer service yesterday to complain, and they would only agree to reimburse me for 50% of the overcharge! So I am warning you all to watch for the "bait and switch" techniques used at this location!! And then be warned that corporate will not be much help in rectifying any issue. I will not rent from this Budget location ever again!!!
