  • The Bagel Factory on Craig St. is appalling. I've had coffee here a few times. They serve Zeke's, which would be good if it were warm and if they kept the cream full. All of the milk/cream pitchers are empty, and the options are minimal (either cream or skim milk). I've also eaten a disgusting bagel, egg, and cheese sandwich here. The cheese was ladled on. Most recently, I had a salty, nasty, scone, which inspired me to write this review. Not only is the food horrible, but the service is too. The disheveled woman at the register is always doing something besides paying attention to the customer in front of her (answering the phone, talking to other employees, and taking her time to acknowledge your presence). If there were any other options at 8:00 in the morning without a line out the door (i.e. Starbucks), I would take them in a heartbeat.
