So, it's always difficult to rate airports. What does one expect? What makes an airport a 5-star versus a 3-star versus a 1? If you have a horrible experience, i.e. your plane is delayed you may want to rate it low but those experiences aren't a reflection of the airport itself. I'll give it to you straight, there's nothing amazing about this airport versus any other. It's slow, not very busy. The restaurants aren't spectacular. Security is generally fast, although only one security checkpoint was opened when I flew out. There's a train system you can access when you get off your flight that'll take you directly downtown if you don't mind the slower transit. Otherwise you can catch a cab to downtown for about $30-35.
I'd your flying US Airways from here, you'll be in terminal A which is the slums here. There's renovation of the floors underway and there aren't stores or restaurants down that way. I'm not sure if there's a Starbucks in the whole airport. There is a smaller rock & roll hall of fame store in the airport so you can buy souvenirs for he kids and family if you can't make it to the actual hall.
