  • I didn't quite know what to expect from Madison's museums, but this is one of the best art museum experiences I have. One issue I've had in some of the bigger museums I've been to is that exhibits of like artists/time periods/styles/countries of origin can become almost fatiguing. There are so many different kinds of art from so many places and time periods that it's enjoyable and exciting to wander from room to room. It's just big enough that you could get lost for hours, but small enough that I didn't feel like I had to rush or that I was missing out during my afternoon visit. Delightful!
