I had my Cherokee in for some work and my experience was just okay. With so many different options available for service from other dealerships and private mechanics, I guess I expect a little more.
The positives were that I was able to get right in, the work was completed promptly, and there haven't been any issues, so far. The non-positives (because I can't really call them negatives) are: My tire pressure gauge light was on when I dropped it off. I thought perhaps they could take the time to check the tire pressure, because they would have had to see the light on my dash as they were servicing an issue with a separate light. This next one would have been going "above and beyond" but to be exceptional this is something that would have been done - I had brand new wipers in my car that they could have installed. Again nothing major, just what was missing from a 5 star review.
The biggest issue I had was when I spoke to the mechanic on the phone the first time he quoted me around $700. I spoke with him again for him to tell me that the work was complete, but no mention of the charges. When I picked my vehicle up the charges came in at over $900. A simple communication breakdown, but a little frustrating when I was handed the bill.
So basically if you're looking for an "Okay" experience this is your spot, but I'm sure there are other service shops around town that know the value of a customer and are willing to go that extra mile to get your return business. I will be going elsewhere the next time I need to make a purchase or have work done in hopes of finding exceptional customer service.
