This is one happnin' hoppin' Hawaiian hale! I loved the decor of slippers at the door!
The eclairs are definitely one of kind, and this Hawaiian style is pretty difficult to find on the mainland.
Bowls ordered were the salmon Paina and the Hawaiian. The salmon was a great taste and color and a good portion. With the Hawaiian, the Lomi salmon was on point, but the Kalua pig was subpar, lacking the smokey flavor and juiciness, I'm used to having. The pulehu Tako was good, although, I prefer the plain, and much thinner cuts. It's so chewy to begin with.
The spicy tuna poke in inari was pretty awesome and unique, a must try.
I have yet to try any taro or ube. I guess they sell out fairly early in the day.
