I used this ATM to make shared branching deposits because my credit union is so far. I have had several issues with their ATM after hours, but just recently I finally learned my lesson.
It was around 9pm in a Friday and I was making a cash deposit of $500.00. I had an early morning flight and need to get the cash in my account. I inserted twenty $20 bills and one $100 bill. Their raggedy ATM ate up all of the 20s in my deposit and spit out one ripped $100 bill. I was mortified! No receipt or anything. The screen just said error and the lights on the machine all turned red. I called the number on the ATM only to be told they could do nothing because I am not their member.
I had to reschedule my flight and get back there first thing in the morning before they opened and wait. I was able to speak with the branch manger and he told me the same thing.
Luckily my credit union, Arizona Federal, was able to give me a provisional credit while they investigated and they settled everything after about 7 days. I wouldn't use this ATM again nor would I use DFCU or Desert Schools as they weren't very helpful.
