  • My initial experience with this dental office was great; all three of my toddlers have been seen by them and two of my toddlers have had cavity fillings and a great overall experience (all went seamless). If you're looking for a great dentist, I would recommend this place. My disappointment comes from the front office in which appointments and insurance is handled. My youngest (2 years old). Was scheduled to have work done for cavities in the surgical center. I was called by one of the office staff advising that I needed to update my insurance information; I returned the call and spoke with another staff member providing them with all of the necessary information. I was advised that the day before the procedure the office would call me with my out of pocket cost and I was provided with a check-in time and address of where the procedure would take place. The day before the procedure I had not received a call so I decided to call the office; come to find out my daughter's appointment had been cancelled and I was accused of not calling the office to update my insurance information. I was livid; any parent knows how difficult it is to coordinate work and home life schedules. The person in whom I was speaking to was kind enough to find out who it was I spoke with and who failed to update the notes with my insurance information; however, I was left with no appointment for my child (that I had already waited two months for) and was provided with two solutions: 1. Wait until April for the next surgical opening (which seemed unfair considering the cancellation of the already scheduled appointing was due to lack of communication within their office) or 2. Pay an anesthesiologist to do the procedure in-office which would be highly costly as the anesthesiologist does not accept insurance but the procedure could be done the following week. I opted for option number 2 to which I was told it was busy in the office at the moment and that I would receive a call back before end of day to confirm my appointment time and for the office to retrieve my credit card information (required to make the appointment with anesthesiologist); I did not receive a call. Disappointing as I was extremely happy with the dental work provided to my two other toddlers; however, the lack of professionalism from the front office staff forced me to make an appointment elsewhere. Overall, extremely satisfied with the work done on my children (all under the age of six) but in my opinion, the communication amongst front office (internally and externally) needs improvement. With that being said, everybody has different experiences and I could have just been the victim of a really busy period but I personally have unfortunately moved on to another dentist.
