We've been living in a Haven Home for 2 1/2 years. Within our first week we discovered leaks from 2 of the sinks. The plumbing had not been properly installed. After calling, and receiving no response, my husband was able to fix it. We never heard back from Haven. We were told upon lease execution that we could install grass in the backyard and take it off our rent. We called the next spring to discuss it and were told that the property was as is and they would not compensate us. Fine. When we negotiated our renewal we again asked about grass. The yard is currently dusty dirt and a major waste of space we would otherwise like to utilize. We entered into an addendum stating they would pay and coordinate the installation of grass. We have now called multiple times per month, and at this point almost daily to find out when we can expect the grass to be installed. My husband has been given the runaround several times but nearly every call goes to voicemail with no response. It's been 7 months. No information. No returned calls. We will not be renewing again. With a baby moving certainly isn't something I'd like to do but working with a company that never returns calls or holds up their side of a Lease makes me concerned with how they may handle other issues. I'd rather our money go somewhere else.
