| - I do not usually write negative reviews for places as I'm pretty tolerant of just about everything...but this EOS was reason enough for me to write a review. As a fitness enthusiast who has been a member of many upon many of different fitness clubs, I can honestly say I have never been in a gym as filthy. Now, the workout area is great, small, but other than that not many complaints. Has the machines you need, and some pretty decent cardio machines. The facility is nice, modern, and pleasant to look at. Over the past year or so, since the club switched management, the locker room area has become intolerable. I'm not sure if the cleaning services just aren't be managed well...but it is constantly filthy. I can't count the number of times I've been in the men's locker room and there were wet towels all over the floor, used razors on the shower floors, 4 out of 6 showers unusable (whether they're flooded or water isn't working), and dirt covering the steam room floors. Last year, none of these problems existed and the facility was as clean as can be expected from a health club. I'm not here to trash talk, but it amazes me that all other EOS locations in Phoenix have cleaner and better kept locker rooms than the "Exclusive VIP" club downtown that you would expect to be the best club in Phoenix. Management needs to reevaluate and make some dire changes, then the club would return to being the amazing club it used to be.
