  • The serviceman first told me they wouldn't honor the repair warranty on their sticker on the garage door. Then he gave me a quote that would have been over $1,250 after tax. I told him we would call if we decided to have them do the repair. Then he offered to waive the labor charges, bringing it to $1,080. I said we still needed to compare to some other businesses. Just a few minutes after he left, a guy from Sun City's office called saying they would match any other price. I told him I didn't have any other prices yet & I would call back. He then made me an offer for $180 including labor and warranty. I was very annoyed at this point. I told him that I didn't appreciate the outrageous quote they gave me in the first place and the fact that they didn't honor their own warranties. Then he offered to do it for free "just to show you what kind of business we are". I laughed and said "No thanks. You've already shown me what kind of business you are." He started to snap back w/ a smart remark but I hung up on him before he could finish. I went w/ another business w/ a very high rating on Yelp and I couldn't be happier about it!
