For the past three years, I had NOT filled my prescriptions at Sharona Optical. There were two reasons: the cost and the staff. I was never made to feel welcome, and it always seemed like the folks there were looking at the wait area to see how many more patients needed to be measured and/or sold glasses. Even to call them on the telephone was a nightmare.
This has since changed! There is an individual named Mike who is now with Sharona. While waiting to be seen for two different appointments, I observed him and how he related to the patients/clients/customers. I am impressed!!
Not ready to even look at frames, he took the time to answer some questions I had (knowing that I would be leaving without ordering anything), and when he did so, he made eye contact, was sincere, and really gave an impression that he truly cares. This is a clear indication that he does.
So, I have made the decision to go back to Sharona and see him. I already know he will give me the time and expertise needed. Everything happens for a reason. Sharona has stepped up in improving their gig. To be continued.....
