  • I have only been to Kane & Company twice, but it is the THIRD salon I have tried in the Champaign-Urbana area, and so far - the best! I saw Ursa both times (for a consultation and a Brazilian Blowout) and she is incredibly knowledgable about hair care. I went in the first time about a month ago, and as a mid-twenties female who is starting to go grey, I've been overwhelmed in how to deal with my hair. Ursa gave me some tips and suggestions, as well as explained the biology to me behind my hair color change and effects that environmental stressors can cause. I went back yesterday for my Brazilian Blowout (last year I got a keratin treatment at a different Champaign-Urbana salon, but wanted to try something different). The process took about 2 hours, and Ursa gave me plenty of tips and suggestions to prolong the effects of the treatment on my hair. While I haven't yet washed it and therefore cannot comment on the treatment itself, I felt so comfortable with the quality of personalized attention and care I was given. The Brazilian Blowout was also slightly less expensive than some of the other salons in the area (which is always an important factor to consider). I highly recommend Kane & Company!
