  • This was my 4th time at Hearthstone & it happened to be the day they overhauled the menu. Which is fun- to see what's new. But it's also a bummer because things that we went back for were gone. Our waiter was awesome... the 1st two times there, that was not the case. These past two times, though, zero complaints! The calamari was still spot-on but with more deep fried lemons & zucchini & I'm pretty sure the portion was a bit larger (yay!). I tried 2 new items for my entree: French onion soup & adult grilled cheese. My g*d, the soup was incredible. Perfect balance of sweet & savory. The cheese & crouton were easy to manage. The grilled cheese, however, lacked in a couple places: 1) no flavor whatsoever & 2) it was rather dry. It needed more cheese or a more creamy one. I wasn't blown away by the desserts either. Luckily the calamari & soup carried the meal & made it mostly worth it.
