Definitely my spot to grab a some drinks and hang out while I'm in old Las Vegas. I usually go on the weekends and the cover charge for men ranges up to ($5-$15). Women are usually free.
Commonwealth is two stories. The first floor vibe is really chill. They play lowkey music (RnB, Old School Hip Hop) where you can drink and hang out. The seating area is ok and it's first come first serve. Drinks are reasonably price. Fireball shots were $5 and Hennessy shots were $8, not bad compared to the Las Vegas Strip prices. The 2nd floor is where they play (Top 40, Rap & Hip Hop). They also have a bar and a nice view of old downtown Las Vegas. The dancefloor is reasonably sized and enough space for everyone to dance. One thing I do enjoy about this place is the "crowd". Bunch of chill locals and a older crowd 27+ who doesn't want to deal with the "Try Hard" and "Overzealous" crowd that the Las Vegas Strip Provides. One thing to note, the floor does get sticky throughout the night. It's outdoors and people get a little sloppy and spill their drinks but definitely not a major buzzkill.
Definitely a great spot to kick it and have a good time while in Old Las Vegas
