rev:text	Small little bakery and deli with an assortment of baked goods (including sfogliatella/lobster tail!) and a short deli counter. I had just stopped by the convenience store so I was just popping in to grab a quick snack. They had an assortment of pies and struddlle for $7 or $8 and a small assortment of pastries and cookies for $1-$2. What did catch my eye, is that they have the Italian pastry Sfogliatella (i.e. Lobster Tail) which has been made popular by the show "Cake Boss". Having trade Carlos' Bakery's lobster tail the week before, I decided to try this one as well for comparison sake. I wasn't expecting much, but the pastry was crisp and fluffy, the cream was a bit disappointing. I'm not sure about the turnover at this little shop, but I'm guessing they don't get quite enough turnover to keep their pastries super fresh (i.e. daily). The cream wasn't as rich and flavorful as other places. The pastry is also a bit small. Overall though, there aren't many places in Markham you can find a lobster tail so for $1.50 I might just drop by the next time I get a craving for one. I also tried a chocolate chip cookie, which was average. I'm a fan of soft/chewy cookies, and this was a bit tougher/harder so I'd pass on the cookies if you prefer softer types. I'll pass by again to try the lobster tail again and to try some of their other baked goods, but I'm giving it 2 stars for now because the cookie was meh, and lobster tail was ok. But again, one of the few places I know of that sell sfogliatella/lobster tail, so check it out!
