  • Whenever I am in Pittsburgh, I stay at this hotel. I've been to all the hotels near the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University, and this is my first preference. Pros The staff is nice and friendly. The rooms have full sized refrigerators and small kitchens. The indoor pool has a nice skylights, I've been in the pool and watched the snow come down. Cons I didn't think twice about the decore until I stayed at one of the recently created Residence Inns. Now I agree that the color scheme is a little old, but he furniture is still nice and friendly.
