I have gone back a few times now. The desserts have improved quite a bit. I've tried a couple of the sandwiches, and they've been on the better side of ok. Unfortunately, I'm scared off of the schnitzel, so I don't know if it's changed or not. Updating to 3 stars. I'm still a bit disappointed by the offerings, as it's a fake meat inspired menu, and a bit overpriced for the portions.

The specials are FANTASTIC! I have been blown away by every single special I've had. They've had a fairly wide range, so it's fair to say that they put a lot of effort into them. Sadly, the regular menu items have been mediocre. I really wish they didn't have a menu that was designed around everything being 'fake meat', rather than appreciating the wide world of food outside of the tiny kingdom of meat for what it is and the flavors it offers. (Very sadly, as I was SUPER looking forward to it, the vegan schnitzle was so dry and hard, I couldn't even cut it).
Interesting drink specials, too. :D
I really REALLY want to like the desserts. However, they've been super hit or miss. Example: 3 times I've tried the lava cake. It's one of my favorite desserts. 1 out of the 3 times it was palatable. The others it was a briquette. I recognize that could be restaurant staff overheating it before serving; but even then, it shouldn't be that hard and dry. Of the cheesecake dessert specials, which they seem to have frequently, one was divine (cherry amaretto), the others have been 'meh'. The S'more pie was fantastic the first time, and then I had it twice afterwards and it was completely different each time- only good the first.
