  • Bought a basic 3ring notebook. Got home to find it was USED. By a store employee for work notes. Okay - honest mistake. But the level of amusement it provided the staff when I returned it was unconscionable. Oh everyone mouthed the right words but with a total lack of sincerity. The main reason I went I was to buy ink cartridges. Asked at the register if we could open the box to make sure it was correct. Was told no that's against policy. So I paid for it, opened I right in front of her, it was not the correct size and I made an immediate return. that's for "policy". Worst part was the supervisor she called up knew less about the product than I do. I'll drive further to use Office Depot next time.
