| - We came here for a celebratory birthday dinner. The atmosphere is not intimate if that is what you are looking for, but it is nice. The service is spot on, the busboy was on top of everything.
The food is good, no complaints. This is a true steakhouse, how you order your steak is exactly how it comes. Some chain restaurants tend to overcook the meat slightly, so be aware, medium rare here is medium rare.
We started with a stuffed portobello mushroom. It was tasty, to be honest it tasted like the ones I cook at home. Perhaps they were peeking in my kitchen.
We each ordered a filet mignon and shared a side of asparagus between the two of us. I believe this is the way to go at this restaurant. It was plenty of food. Everything is à la carte. Both of our steaks were cooked exactly to order as mentioned above. They were good steaks, but not wow I've never had a steak this good.. good.
We finished with a creme brûlée. My favorite. It was creamy in the middle with a perfect crust on top, just as it should be.
We went with two other couples. With gratuity included (party of 6 or more), our bill per couple was slightly over 200. Not bad. Of course we had a beer each and an after dinner drink. I think the food served was worth the price, based on quality cuts of meat and the skill at which it was cooked. However, I think for the price I may be able to find something with more of a wow factor for me.
