My partner and I found a deal on Groupon, 90 min couples massage in their VIP room for about $60. BY THE WAY, I KNOW WE DID NOT GET WHAT WE PAID FOR. I paid for a VIP room and did not get that but that's not my biggest issue. It's a very big location and we'll set up. Once you walk in, after I said "Hello and good evening!" There was a look of disgust and an irritated look. Any questions I'd ask was followed by an annoyed response. There are price menus and even a tip guide which both seem easy to read. The massage was HORRIBLE even for its price.. I'm 5'1 and 115 pounds and he was basically massaging my spine with his elbow and to top it off he slapped my back 3 times at the very end which knocked the wind out of me. I left with a sore neck. When it was time to tip I gave each of them $10 which is $20 for the whole hour (which is considered "very happy" according to their tip guide even if I was "very unhappy".)But they seemed unhappy about that and asked for more money. According to their "tip guide" if my massage was "very happy/very good" I should tip $20/hr. The receptionist said, since I had a discounted price I should tip more. I gave an extra $5, (about $12.50 each to be exact which was all my cash) and they were still unhappy. She then suggested I should put more on my card. After she said that it was already escalating into an argument which I was annoyed about since it was about... A TIP... which technically is not even mandatory. I left there tipping $30 from my card just for them to quit crying about an extra $10 for their tip. I just wanted at least a bit of relaxation since my last massage was more than a year ago but I left even more stressed out and in pain.
