It's generally a decent hotel but the 'wear and tear' is indicating that the place needs to be freshen up (stain on walls, stain on carpet, wooden chips on the furniture, broken tiles in the bathroom etc).
If your room is on the first couple of floors towards the entrance rooftop, then you will end up having a great view of the air conditioning units and the green spotlights (not fun at all!). However, I like their dinner buffet. Beds are comfy. Haven't tried their pool yet.
