  • I was so bummed when the Rite Aids closed a few years back and I had thought that they had taken my precious Thrifty ice cream with then. But then i saw this place in my neighborhood and my hope was restored. Whats there not to like about Thrifty ice cream? They have all the nostalgic flavors from my childhood and its pretty cheap when compared to Coldstone and other spots. Ice cream is ice cream to me and I'm fine with a 2 scoop cone for about $3. The menu also features sundaes, shakes, ice cream sandwiches and similar frosty treats. The employees have always been friendly and more than happy to get you samples. The mint chocolate chip and butter pecan are my top two but stop by figure out your own favorites.
