  • When I first came to Las Vegas it was 115 degrees out. My truck's air conditioner was like I can't handle this and gave up. After 3 days of trying to acclimate from Colorado I was like I can't do this and I went looking for a good A/C shop. Pickart was an accidental find for me, but I've been very pleased with their services. He was able to get my truck in quick, diagnosed my issue (low refrigerant), and had me back to 55 degrees blowing out of my vents in no time. When my car started having A/C issues I was like oh no, we're not doing that again. I took it to Pickart and he had to dig a lot deeper to fix the problems. But he fixed the problems and now once the car cools down I can run around town with the blower on 2 and stay cool. This shop also has a race team. Why is this important? If they're cooling off high performance racing engines that they're paying for, they know what works and what doesn't. I saw them repair aluminum radiators on the spot. They've also invested in the equipment to do an environmentally friendly purge and recharge of your A/C system. And the shop is clean and while it's got stuff laying around it's not a cluttered hole in the wall. In short they take pride in their work and it shows. You don't need to read a review to know, just go and when you're asking questions look around you. You'll understand. Great service, competitive prices, and a one and done repair on both of my vehicles gets my business. They are about 1 mile East of I-515 off Sunset at Boulder Highway.
