| - I love the GO Pool!!
The set-up of this Day Club means that there is plenty of space to party and play, even on days when the pool gets packed. I LOVE that there are alcoves, a waterfall and naturally (or structurally) shaded areas to provide escape from the sun wether you are in the water or in a Cabana.
The Flamingo was so generous to provide us with 3 Cabanas in the back, allowing us to overlook the whole pool and the DJ pavilion! We also had a nice selection of mixers for our rum, vodka or beer and America was great about making sure everyone had plenty in their cups.
I was most surprised at the food spread, to be honest. The fruit platter was filled with not just your usual accoutrement (grapes, strawberries, pineapple) but had more exciting fruit like kiwi, nectarines, blood oranges and even Dragon Fruit! The waffle fries were crisp and well seasoned and the chicken fingers were tender with a nice crunch! (Not the usual over-fried, hard pellets you can often expect from mass-produced 'quick-bite' places.) Even the sliders had a nice bun-to-patty proportion, with just the right amount of grilled onion on top but not quite enough cheese (there's never enough cheese, let's be real.)
All in all, a great event! The perks of having a cabana is not only an escape from the Vegas Sun, but a stack of towels, a comfy place to sit down when you're out of the water and best of all, a safe place to tuck your valuables while you enjoy the sun! This was the perfect way to kick off the Summer Season - Thanks Flamingo! I know for sure I'll be back.

The only bummer is the parking. While it's very convenient to park in the Flamingo garage and go down to the first floor (which dumps you directly at the entrance to the pool,) The Flamingo does not offer validation within the venue, so unless you park at the Venetian and walk about 15-20 minutes, you're looking at $12 for the day. Not a lot, but if you're a local and like the Day Clubs, that adds up!
