  • Abandon all hope, ye who eat food here. That's what I feel the sign on the door should read, rather than anything else. No hours, no visa/master card accepted, nothing. I've seen the place many times driving down main street for awhile now and had received a coupon in the mail for it a week or two before actually going in. The first thing that should have clued me in was the poorly kept parking lot, where you park in virtual darkness, save for some sad lighting off the building and a street lamp toward the entrance. The next warning was the fact that I couldn't see inside the restaurant windows, leaving me with the feeling that we were trapped on this odyssey once stepping inside until the bitter, stomach-aching end. This has to be the saddest restaurant that I have ever been in. Hardly anyone spoke, there was only the sound of a bit of eating, silverware scraping and plate shuffling. It was like sitting down in a gulag as we asked for drinks and were told to go get our food. Oh the food! The whole reason we've come to this review site and have shared our thought on different eating establishments. It is a sub-par greasefest - not Ocean Buffet level of disgusting (read my nauseating review) - but bad in its own right. Most of the selections were bland, greasy and if they could shed tears for what they could have been, they would have been sobbing. Nothing stood out with a taste that could be discerned as food flavor and after several sorry attempts at trying different dishes, we gave up, finished our drinks and made our way to the door in what I imagined a true 'Walk of Shame' would be. My mouth felt just as violated and my stomach only called the next morning to tell me how terrible I was at bringing it to satisfaction. Also - all of the print ads state that there are sushi selections available. This was a lie, at least on the evening that we went - though they may have it on the weekends only. I wouldn't try it however, I'm not a fan of food poisoning. All in all, it was a wasted experience. I found more joy in the can of soup I ate an hour or two later after my stomach had settled some. Don't waste your time with this place, there are many other excellent establishments that are comfortable, clean and tasty. To the reviewers that have given it positive ratings - can you please direct me to the establishment you went to as I don't feel we've gone to the same place.
