| - For people, who claim that all they do all day is talking to candidates, they have zero clue about professionalism. It is my second time trying to work with Lannick recruiters, and I will try to stay away going forward.
They say they may have something for you but never actually get back to confirm that. Do they expect me to be chasing them to show that I am interested? But I do not know what it is to be that persistent. Just have at least courtesy to deliver on your promise. Even if the answer is now.
I went for a meeting with one recruiter (having to take time off from my current job) just recently, answered all kinds of questions about my background and why I want to switch. then three days ago, I get a phone call from another recruiter from Lannick (during the day, so I am at work). She does not ask if it is ok to talk and if it is convenient for me, and starts asking the very same questions. And she does that right 5 minutes before she has some kind of meeting, so there was no way we actually talked. I politely explain to her that I really cannot talk now, and if we can do it perhaps tomorrow, but she is all busy tomorrow. And for some reason, she does not just email me the opportunity first (perhaps I am simply not interested).
And do not forget all phone calls where they had an exciting opportunity for me, that completely did not match my skills. Do they ever actually read resumes or they have to do that many phone calls a day to meet their quota.
If you market yourself as a leader recruiting firm working with professionals, perhaps at least train your staff not to respect their time.
